The Whipping Post Take on Noozhawk
STATE OF THE SCHOOLS? MORE LIKE STATE OF DENIAL!
Santa Ynez Valley Union High bureaucrats gathered to pat themselves on the back, likely forgetting the actual state of things for taxpaying parents.

The DispatchThe local educational elite over at Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District are once again performing their annual "State of the Schools" charade, an event we’re sure is brimming with buzzwords, virtue signaling, and nary a mention of the actual state of our students' preparedness for the real world. Noozhawk, ever eager to print the press releases verbatim, breathlessly reported on this grand bureaucratic spectacle, implying it's some kind of public service rather than a carefully orchestrated propaganda session.
One can only imagine the thrilling revelations: perhaps a new initiative to make algebra "equitable," or a spirited defense of curriculum choices that leave students more fluent in grievance studies than gainful employment. While parents are struggling with exorbitant property taxes funding these ivory towers, the district brass will undoubtedly showcase their latest diversity, equity, and inclusion triumph, probably at the expense of things like, you know, reading, writing, and arithmetic.
Don't expect any deep dives into how much precious taxpayer cash is being siphoned off for administrative bloat, or why the district's pension liabilities are ballooning faster than a bureaucrat's expense account. And certainly, no one will be asking tough questions about why so many local families are opting for homeschooling or private alternatives. It's all about perception, not performance, in the progressive education racket. Just smile, nod, and pretend everything is just peachy while they continue to indoctrinate our youth and drain our wallets.
