Instead, we’ll get stern warnings and the vague promise of 'community resource centers' – likely overflowing with warm bottled water and even warmer platitudes from 'concerned' local officials. It's almost as if the entire system is designed to showcase how utterly dependent and helpless the populace is without the benevolence of their government and government-sanctioned monopolies. This constant threat of power loss isn't about safety; it's about control, and a soft-gloved apology for decades of neglect while environmental mandates strangle any common-sense infrastructure upgrades. Another heatwave, another glorious failure of California's 'forward-thinking' energy policies.
