The Whipping Post Take on KEYT NewsChannel 3-12
PENTAGON FAT-SHAMES OUR HEROES FOR FREE UFC TICKETS? ONLY THE LEFT COULD RUIN FREE STUFF!
In a move surely dreamed up by some leftover Obama-era bureaucrat, our brave service members are now facing a weigh-in for the privilege of seeing a White House UFC fight, proving once again that prog

It appears the Pentagon, ever eager to embrace the latest in pointless bureaucratic hurdles, is now scrutinizing the waistlines of our nation’s finest before they can enjoy a well-deserved night of pugilistic entertainment at the White House. NewsChannel 3-12, in its typically breathless manner, reports on this riveting scandal as if the world is ending, conveniently overlooking that this kind of nitpicking is precisely what happens when unelected deep-staters get to set the rules.
One might think that valor, sacrifice, and a willingness to put one's life on the line for freedom would be enough credential for a free ticket. But no, some pencil-pusher, likely fresh out of a diversity, equity, and inclusion seminar, has decided that our military heroes must first pass an arbitrary physical fitness test to witness people actually fighting for a living. It's almost as if the left can’t stand the idea of anyone, especially a member of our strong military, receiving anything good without first enduring a gauntlet of their preferred, joy-sapping hoops.
This isn't about promoting health; it's about control, plain and simple. It's about taking something genuinely exciting and injecting it with the kind of soul-crushing regulations that only a government agency run wild could concoct. Our President, a true patriot, extends an invitation to honor those who serve, and some mid-level functionary decides it's an opportunity to implement a diet plan. It’s a classic case of bureaucratic overreach, proving that even a free UFC fight isn't safe from the meddling hands of those who prefer clipboards to actual action.
While our heroes are busy defending the world, some desk jockey is apparently more concerned with their BMI than with their bravery. Perhaps these Pentagon elites should spend less time dictating who gets a complimentary seat and more time actually preparing our forces for the real fights ahead. Or better yet, just let them watch the fights and enjoy a moment of appreciation without the progressive guilt trip. This sort of nonsense is exactly why trust in institutions, especially those increasingly riddled with left-wing ideologues, continues to plummet.
