According to KEYT NewsChannel 3-12's rather understated report, this all started with "disturbing statements" – a phrase that, in 2026, usually means a teenager was exposed to TikTok for more than five minutes or spent too much time in a public school classroom.

It’s almost as if the grown-ups – you know, the ones who don't spend their days crafting DEI manifestos – still remember what actual public safety looks like. While the progressive elites in Sacramento and our local Supervisors squabble over banning gas stoves and building more 'affordable' housing that nobody can afford, our deputies are out there doing the real work, safeguarding our children from the increasingly unhinged elements that seem to flourish under progressive governance.

The fact that a local specialized unit, likely underfunded and overworked thanks to a decade of 'reimagine policing' rhetoric, was able to prevent what could have been a catastrophic event is a testament to their dedication. It makes one wonder how many more such 'potential threats' are brewing in communities where common-sense parenting has been replaced by 'gender-affirming care' and traditional values are scoffed at. Perhaps if our local leadership focused less on climate change 'emergencies' and more on the moral decay infecting our youth, these heroic interventions wouldn't be quite so necessary.
