ELECTION 'RESULTS': OR, HOW WE LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND LOVE THE STATUS QUO

Frankly, we’re more shocked that the sun rose in the east this morning than by any of these predictable 'victories.' So, while the Independent tots up the votes, we'll be here, trying to figure out which backroom deal was solidified this time, which taxpayer-funded boondoggle is now officially 'approved' by the democratic process, and which well-funded incumbent gets another term to 'serve' the public by serving themselves.
