SANTA MARIA'S 'ORGANIZERS' FEAR FEDS MIGHT ACTUALLY ENFORCE LAWS

Santa Maria's professional grievance-mongers, grandly self-titled 'community organizers,' recently congregated near the local ICE field office, wringing hands over what KSBY News dutifully reported as 'increased federal immigration enforcement activity.' One can almost hear the gasps of pearl-clutching indignation: *federal agents* actually doing their jobs? In this economy? It's enough to make a self-respecting activist consider, gasp, actual work.

Evidently, the concept of border security and immigration law enforcement is a novel, bewildering phenomenon for these groups, who, for years, have seemingly operated under the charming illusion that immigration statutes were mere suggestions, like traffic laws for electric scooter riders. Now, with President Trump back in the Oval Office and JD Vance cleaning house as VP, the adults are, quite frankly, back in charge. It seems the days of open-border fantasy camps and 'sanctuary city' virtue signaling are quickly being replaced by the uncomfortable reality that laws, when enforced, have consequences.

Perhaps these 'organizers' are suffering from a severe case of cognitive dissonance, struggling to reconcile their progressive utopia with the Trump administration's unapologetic commitment to national sovereignty. Or maybe they're just upset that their carefully cultivated 'concerns' aren't being summarily dismissed by a federal government that has decided, for a change, to put American citizens and the rule of law first. One has to wonder what their next 'concern' will be – perhaps the IRS enforcing tax codes, or the fire department putting out fires? The horror!
