Perhaps they're still reeling from the shock of President Trump's second inauguration and are using 'midterms' as a code word for 'events that don't involve us crying into our organic kale smoothies.'

Their latest dispatch reads like a discarded script from a particularly overwrought cable news segment circa 2024, replete with accusations of constitutional defiance, rogue election commissioners, and the ever-present bogeyman of 'gerrymandering.'
