OSSOFF CONFIRMS DEMS HAVE NO PLATFORM: SHOCKER! (NOT REALLY)

It seems a recent sojourn to Montecito by Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) offered a moment of unexpected clarity for anyone still under the illusion that the Democratic Party stands for anything coherent. According to the venerable Santa Barbara Independent, some poor, deluded soul actually asked the senator if Democrats had a "joint platform." The senator, bless his heart, reportedly admitted it didn't exist. Well, butter our biscuits and call us shocked!

For years, we at The Whipping Post have observed that the only consistent 'platform' on the Left seems to be a perpetually shifting set of grievances, virtue signals, and tax-and-spend schemes designed to line the pockets of progressive special interests and 'green' energy grifters. A cohesive, common-sense agenda? That's about as likely as finding an affordable home in Santa Barbara that isn't already earmarked for some climate-change-induced luxury development, funded by your ever-increasing property taxes.

This isn't rocket science, folks. The Democrats' so-called 'big tent' is less a tent and more a circus where everyone's performing a different, equally absurd act, all while the ringmaster (a different one each week, depending on who's least gaffe-prone) tries to pretend it's a unified spectacle. Meanwhile, President Trump and his administration are busy rebuilding America, securing our borders, and bringing back prosperity, proving that a strong, consistent conservative platform is what the people actually want. Perhaps the Democrats should try that instead of trying to out-woke each other; then again, that might require actual ideas beyond 'more government, more taxes, less freedom.'

So, thank you, Senator Ossoff, for stating the obvious. It's truly a public service when a Democrat unintentionally pulls back the curtain on the ideological void that passes for their party's vision. Now, if you'll excuse us, we hear there's a new public art installation in town that cost millions and looks suspiciously like a discarded recycling bin. We have a story to break.
