L.A. GOVERNOR 'PROTECTS' AGING & DISABLED... FROM HIS OWN PARTY'S TAXES?!

We at The Whipping Post, however, have to ask: protect them from what, exactly? Oh, right, probably from the very same Sacramento-driven inflation, endless regulations, and crushing tax burden that makes it nearly impossible for these essential service providers to operate without constant legislative 'protections' and handouts.

It’s a classic progressive two-step: first, impose policies that make living and operating in California astronomically expensive, then pat yourselves on the back for passing a bill that supposedly 'saves' the very people you've put at risk. Perhaps if Sacramento stopped siphoning off taxpayer dollars for pet projects and actually allowed the free market to flourish, allowing businesses to thrive and people to keep more of their hard-earned money, these critical services wouldn't need a legislative superhero to swoop in every other year.
