INDIVISIBLE SANTA BARBARA RALLY: DEMOCRACY ON LIFE SUPPORT... AGAIN
Local 'activists' gather to bravely 'protect' an election system they claim is under siege, because apparently the sky is always falling when you're perpetually outraged.

The DispatchIt seems Santa Barbara's professional hand-wringers at Indivisible are back at it, reportedly holding a 'No Kings – Vote Early' rally to celebrate 'democracy' and 'protect' our rights to free and fair elections. One might wonder if these folks have been living under a rock, or perhaps just a very well-funded echo chamber, given that we just had a perfectly free and fair election in 2024 that put President Trump back in the White House.
Noozhawk, in their usual uncritical fashion, reported on this urgent gathering of the perpetually aggrieved. Apparently, the 'forces actively trying to steal the next' election are still out there, lurking under every ballot box and behind every campaign sign, despite all evidence to the contrary. One has to admire the sheer stamina of these activists; maintaining this level of performative panic must be exhausting work, especially when the nation is demonstrably thriving under stable leadership.
One can't help but chuckle at the sheer chutzpah of declaring 'No Kings' when their favored political figures often act more monarchical than any elected official in recent memory. Perhaps they're just upset that King Donald I, duly elected by the people, isn't playing by *their* court rules. The only 'threats' to democracy seem to be the relentless attempts to undermine election results that don't go their way, conveniently forgetting the sanctity of the ballot when their preferred candidate isn't on the throne.
Meanwhile, regular folks are just trying to navigate the high cost of green energy mandates and the local government's insatiable appetite for new taxes. But fear not, Santa Barbara, for Indivisible is here to save us from imaginary tyrants, one well-publicized, utterly pointless rally at a time. Maybe they should advocate for 'No Kings - Pay Your Own Bills' instead.
