It’s always the same song and dance: churches, businesses, and anything that might actually benefit the community get tangled in red tape, while virtue-signaling pet projects sail through with nary a speed bump.

One has to wonder if the commissioners pull out their traffic impact studies only when the project doesn't align with their preferred secular utopia. Imagine the outrage if this were a sprawling multi-story apartment complex with inadequate parking – oh wait, those get rubber-stamped faster than you can say 'environmental impact report waiver.' But a church? A place for quiet contemplation and community gathering? That, my friends, is where the line is drawn.
