FINALLY! MILITARY GETS MISSILE WARNING. THANKS, ELON, NOT BUREAUCRATS!The Dispatch
Noozhawk · The Whipping Post · NO.637 · PANEL 2/6 · SB-335

Noozhawk breathlessly reports that a SpaceX rocket, not some government boondoggle committee, just launched another batch of missile-tracking satellites from Vandenberg. It’s comforting to know that in 2026, with President Trump firmly back in the Oval Office, our national security still depends on the ingenuity of American entrepreneurs rather than the lumbering, over-regulated hand of federal bureaucracy. One has to wonder how many more 'studies' and 'equity impact assessments' the Pentagon would still be commissioning if Elon Musk hadn't decided to, you know, actually build rockets that work.

Indeed, while bureaucrats in D.C. are likely still debating the proper gender-neutral terminology for 'missile launch detection,' SpaceX is out there making sure our troops actually have the tools to, you know, detect missile launches. It's almost as if common sense dictates that when your adversaries aren't waiting for a diversity consultant to sign off on their latest ICBM, you shouldn't be either. But then again, common sense isn't exactly in vogue in the halls of power these days, is it?

This 'pause in deliveries' mentioned by Noozhawk isn't some cosmic coincidence; it's the inevitable result of letting the same folks who can't balance a budget manage critical defense programs. Thankfully, private industry understands that national security isn't a suggestion; it's a requirement. So cheers to SpaceX for quietly doing the heavy lifting while the 'experts' in Washington ponder the existential meaning of propulsion. Perhaps one day the Pentagon will learn that the best way to get things done is to get out of the way.
