FINALLY, A MORAL COMPASS! TRUMP TACKLES AESOP’S WOKE NONSENSE!The Dispatch

The Left Coast chattering class, as exemplified by the Santa Barbara Independent, is apparently in a tizzy over President Trump's recent Executive Order aimed at refreshing Aesop's Fables. One might think they'd be thrilled at the concept of 'updating' something, given their penchant for rewriting history and tearing down statues. But no, when President Trump does it, suddenly ancient traditions are sacrosanct. The pearl-clutching is truly a sight to behold.

Evidently, the President has decided that fables like 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf' need a little more 'American First' grit. Gone are the days of vague moralizing; now, children will learn that if you cry wolf, the government will audit your neighbors and cut your farm subsidies, teaching personal accountability. 'The Ant and the Grasshopper' will likely now end with the Grasshopper being offered a lucrative infrastructure contract by the ants, because even the feckless deserve a chance to contribute to national prosperity under the right leadership.

Of course, the Independent sees this as some kind of authoritarian overreach, failing to grasp that perhaps a nation that forgot the value of hard work, self-reliance, and secure borders could use a few pointed reminders from its childhood stories. This isn't about censorship; it's about making timeless wisdom relevant again, much like making America great again. The original morals were probably written by some proto-socialist anyway, urging collective action and discouraging individual ambition. Time to drain the swamp of fables!

This whole kerfuffle really just highlights the coastal elite's detachment. While they wring their hands over altered fairy tales, real Americans are out there building, producing, and ensuring the country doesn't collapse under the weight of progressive idealism. President Trump understands that even our stories need to reflect the strength and common sense that built this nation, not the latest progressive agenda item. Perhaps the Independent should try reading one of the new fables; they might actually learn something.
