We're told the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) and the 'Clean Cities Coalition' are behind this latest attempt to 'educate' us on the glories of battery-powered virtue, conveniently ignoring the inconvenient truths.

What the Independent failed to mention, perhaps because it doesn't fit the approved narrative, is the true cost of these 'free' events. Every single one is underwritten by the same folks who want to dictate what kind of car you drive while simultaneously fighting tooth and nail against reliable, affordable energy production that might actually keep those EVs charged.
