Noozhawk, ever keen to report on the latest pronouncements from our environmental overlords, dutifully covered the 'objection,' citing nebulous 'oil spill concerns.'

Naturally, the Commission's staff report recommended denying the proposal. Because why would we want affordable energy, job creation, and domestic independence when we can import our fuel from regimes that truly champion human rights and environmental stewardship, right? This isn't about legitimate safety concerns; it's about a dogmatic aversion to fossil fuels, disguised as environmental protection, pushing California further down the path of energy dependence and economic self-sabotage. What Noozhawk, and indeed most of the establishment media, won't connect for you is the well-oiled machine behind these 'concerns.' Follow the money, folks.
